The company has established a Precision(Intelligent) Manufacturing Division, which specialises in the supply of components and assemblies for transport and construction machinery, as well as precision forged parts. The aim is to establish a precision (smart) forging centre in South China and to expand its smart manufacturing operations. Current annual production capacity: 80,000 new energy gearboxes, 10 million gears, 500,000 shafts, 1.2 million clutch hubs, 24,000 tonnes of gear forgings and 18,000 tonnes of shaft forgings.

Shaoguan Hongda Gear Co., Ltd.is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. Formerly known as Shaoguan Gear Factory, it was established in 1966 and is located in the Dongguan (Shaoguan) Industrial Transfer Park in Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province. The factory covers an area of 160,000 square metres and currently employs over 700 staff. Its main products include components and assemblies for transport machinery (automotive transmission assemblies and their components, clutch parts), components and assemblies for construction machinery (transmission components such as gears and gear rings, industrial gearboxes, helical bevel gears, and rear axles for electric forklifts), as well as precision forged parts. The company is currently focusing on expanding its business in core precision gears and key components for RV gearboxes, as well as transmission components for aircraft. Key clients in the transport machinery sector include Eaton (USA), BYD, Dongfeng Motor, CRRC and GAC Passenger Vehicle; in the construction machinery sector, Caterpillar, Sany Heavy Industry and Comair (Italy); and in the agricultural machinery sector, John Deere (USA), Deutz and Dongfeng Jinguan. The company has earned high recognition from these leading clients for its R&D and production of machined products.
