University-Enterprise Cooperation! Joint Laboratory of Precision Transmission and Intelligent Manufacturing Officially Unveiled. Shaoneng Hongda Works with South China University of Technology to Deepen Industry-University-Research Integration

On December 29, the signing and unveiling ceremony of the Joint Laboratory of Precision Transmission and Intelligent Manufacturing, jointly built by Shaoguan Hongda Gear Co., Ltd. of Shaoneng Group (hereinafter referred to as Shaoneng Hongda) and South China University of Technology, was held at Shaoneng Hongda. The cooperation aims to advance industry-university-research integration and collaborative technological innovation, accelerate the transformation of cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements, and bolster high-quality local economic development.

As an advanced equipment manufacturer, national high-tech enterprise and specialized, sophisticated, distinctive and innovative "little giant" enterprise in Shaoguan, Shaoneng Hongda commits itself to technological innovation and industrial upgrading. South China University of Technology is a national Project 985 and Double First-Class University, boasting strong scientific research strength and talent reserves in mechanical engineering and intelligent manufacturing.

The cooperation centers on three major goals. First, conduct technological research and industrial upgrading, apply advanced laboratory achievements to local production lines and enhance core corporate competitiveness. Second, introduce and cultivate talents, encouraging outstanding students and young professionals from the School of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering to pursue careers and settle down in Shaoguan. Third, advance project implementation and achievement commercialization, translating viable research findings into industrial applications locally.

Going forward, both sides will take the joint laboratory as a link, give full play to the university's strengths in scientific research and talent cultivation, empower the manufacturing industry in northern Guangdong mountainous areas, and create a new chapter of win-win development through university-local cooperation.
