Responding to the Call, Party Members and Cadres of Shaoneng Group Go to Communities to Carry Out Mosquito Prevention and Elimination Activities

To implement the important work arrangements of the province and the city on the prevention and control of mosquito-borne infectious diseases such as chikungunya fever, effectively respond to the risk of infectious diseases, protect people's health, and further improve the community environmental sanitation level, at 9:30 a.m. on October 19, Party members, cadres and staff of Shaoneng Group Headquarters, together with other units, carried out mosquito prevention and elimination activities focusing on environmental sanitation improvement near Palm Bay in accordance with the requirements of Huacheng Community.

At the activity site, all participants had a clear division of labor and cooperated closely to clean up public areas. Armed with shovels, brooms, scrapers and garbage tongs, they cleaned up weeds, garbage, debris in ditches, dead branches and silt to ensure no dead ends were left. They also checked water accumulation in flower pots in front of shops in Huacheng Community to eliminate mosquito breeding grounds. With practical actions, Party members, cadres and staff of Shaoneng Group set an example for building a clean and tidy living environment in Shaoguan.

The mosquito prevention and elimination activity, led by Party members and cadres of Shaoneng Group with active participation of staff, is an important embodiment of earnestly implementing the work arrangements of the province, the city and the municipal SASAC on the prevention and control of mosquito-borne infectious diseases such as chikungunya fever.

In accordance with the instructions of the municipal SASAC, Shaoneng Group will do a good job in mosquito prevention and elimination:
1.Actively fulfill social responsibilities and further expand publicity;
2.Strengthen the exemplary and leading role to ensure the detailed implementation of prevention and control responsibilities;
3.Build a joint prevention and governance pattern to gather joint efforts for prevention and control.

In the next step, Shaoneng Group will further strengthen close cooperation with the local community, fully handle mosquito-borne infectious diseases, regularly carry out breeding ground investigation and cleaning as well as publicity of prevention and control knowledge, and make due contributions to the prevention and control of this mosquito-borne infectious disease.
