The Trade Union of Mengzhouba Power Plant Re-elected! The New Committee Takes Over the Baton of "Home for Employees"

On the morning of September 22, 2025, the First Member Congress of the 6th Trade Union Committee of Mengzhouba Power Plant was held, with all cadres and employees in attendance. The meeting was presided over by Liu Yumei, Administrative Assistant of Beijiang River Basin.

In accordance with the Trade Union Law, the Constitution of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and other relevant provisions, the Congress elected the 6th Trade Union Committee, with Comrades Lang Yubo, Zhang Jiandong and Chen Yongheng as members, and Comrade Lang Yubo as Vice Chairman. The 6th Trade Union Fund Review Committee was also elected, with Comrades Wen Shihao, Tang Huibin and Liao Meirong as members, and Wen Shihao as Director.

Liu Yongshi, Secretary of the General Party Branch and Director of the Management Committee of Beijiang River Basin, delivered a speech at the meeting. He pointed out that this Congress is not only a major event in the political life of all cadres and employees of Mengzhouba Power Plant, but also a key practice to deepen democratic management and discuss production and operation together.

He spoke highly of the work of the previous Trade Union Committee. Under the leadership of the General Party Branch of the Beijiang River Basin Management Committee and the higher-level trade union, the 5th Trade Union Committee focused on the central work of Mengzhouba Power Plant and achieved remarkable results in guiding employees' ideology, safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests, and enriching their cultural life.

The re-election of the trade union marks a new start, and serving employees sets sail again! The 6th Trade Union Committee will position itself as "employees' intimate friend", shoulder its responsibilities, gather the wisdom and strength of all staff, and help Mengzhouba Power Plant achieve high-quality development with more practical measures and better services.
